PALINDROMES !
" As you may know, palindromes are$words or phrases that can be read to
be the same, both backwards and"forwards. An example of one is the$famous 'Able was I, 'ere I saw Elba'$which was rumoured to have been said!by Napoleon himself. (Although he$actually couldn't speak English very!well.) I thought that it would be
nice for me to try my hand at$producing palindromic sentences such$as these, as well as mentioning some%other ones that I have pinched from a
book.
#"Dammit, Reg, it was in Essen I saw
Tiger Tim mad !"
$"Me ? - Ha ! No devil lived on a hem
!"Pools ? Never, or evens loop !"
&"Six at party - No pony-trap taxis !"
"A Texan, a nun, an axe, ta !"
&" 'Amen' I call, if I fill a cinema "
""Race ! I won denim, Bob mined now
(ie. car)"
"Was it a rat I saw ?"
!" Ya ! Me, nor evil, - a bad work
row, (liver, one may)"
$" Er,..eh? smut on no tums here ? "
""Now relured, I hide ruler (won)"
" As you may have noticed, some of$them are a bit dodgy, and appear not$to make too much sense. Well, if you$can do better then drop us a line at the usual address (sserd dala us!uehtta enilasu por dnehtret tebod%nacuo yfill ewes n esh cum oot ekamot#tonraep padnay gdodtiba era me htfo
